The recipes and activities in the Service are intended to be performed by children only under the direct, continuous supervision of a parent or responsible adult. You are solely responsible for deciding which activities, tools (including knives and appliances), and ingredients are appropriate and safe for your child's age and skill level. You agree to ensure a safe cooking environment, including a working first-aid kit kept within reach.
You understand and acknowledge that cooking and food-preparation activities carry inherent risks, including but not limited to: burns, scalds, cuts, fire, slips and falls, choking, food-borne illness, allergic reactions, and damage to property. You voluntarily assume all such risks on behalf of yourself and your child when participating in any activity associated with the Service.
Recipes may include or come into contact with common allergens (such as milk, eggs, peanuts, tree nuts, wheat/gluten, soy, fish, shellfish, and sesame). You are solely responsible for reviewing all ingredients and instructions before your child prepares or consumes any food, and for ensuring that every recipe is safe and suitable for your child's allergies, intolerances, medical conditions, and dietary needs. Little Spoons is not responsible for any allergic reaction or adverse health effect.
Content in the Service is for general educational and entertainment purposes only and is not medical, nutritional, or professional advice. Consult a qualified professional for any questions about your child's health, diet, or nutrition.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Little Spoons and its owners, instructors, employees, and affiliates will not be liable for any injury, illness, loss, damage, or harm of any kind (whether direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential) arising out of or relating to your or your child's access to or use of the Service, the recipes, or any cooking activity. You release and discharge Little Spoons from all such claims to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law. Where liability cannot be excluded by law, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the three (3) months before the event giving rise to the claim.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Little Spoons and its owners, instructors, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your or your child's use of the Service, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any law or the rights of any third party.
You must provide accurate information and keep your password confidential. You are responsible for all activity under your account, including your child's. One membership account is intended for one family. Please notify us promptly of any unauthorized use of your account.
When you or your child submit a "homework" photo or other content, you confirm that you have the right to share it and that it is appropriate and contains no other identifiable children without consent. You grant Little Spoons permission to store, display, and feature approved photos within the members' area of the Service (for example in the class gallery). Submitted photos are reviewed before they appear. You can ask us to remove your content at any time. Please do not include faces, full names, locations, or other personal details in photos if you would prefer they stay private.
You agree to use the Service respectfully and lawfully. You will not post anything harmful, offensive, or inappropriate, harass other members, or attempt to misuse, copy, or disrupt the Service. We may remove content and suspend accounts that break these rules.
All videos, recipes, materials, and branding in the Service are owned by Little Spoons and provided for your family's personal, non-commercial use only. You may not copy, share, resell, or distribute them outside your household.
To run the Service we collect information such as your email, your child's chosen nickname and age, and the photos and comments you submit. We use this only to operate the club and do not sell your personal information. Please contact us with any privacy questions or requests.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "last updated" date above shows the current version, and your continued use of the Service means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be handled by the courts located in Ontario, Canada.
