🎒 What to Bring
- Closed-toe shoes — no sandals or flip-flops in the kitchen, for safety around hot surfaces and spills.
- Hair tied back if it's long enough to get in the way (we have spare hair ties on hand just in case).
- A box to take home leftovers or treats is completely optional — we love it if your child brings one, but we always have packaging on hand too, so don't worry if you forget.
- Their own apron is optional as well, if your child would like to wear one from home — otherwise we provide one for class.
- Everything else — ingredients and equipment — is provided. No need to bring any cooking supplies.
🛡️ Safety in Our Kitchen
Safety is our top priority, and every class is run with it in mind:
- All classes are led by a trained instructor who stays with the group the entire time — kids are never left unsupervised near a stove, oven, or sharp tool.
- Younger age groups use kid-safe tools (rounded-tip knives, etc.) and are only introduced to heat sources with direct one-on-one instructor supervision.
- We ask about allergies and dietary restrictions at booking so instructors can plan ahead and keep substitutions on hand.
- If your child has a medical condition or allergy the instructor should know about immediately upon arrival, please mention it again at drop-off, just to be safe.
👀 What to Expect During Class
Every class is hands-on — your child will measure, mix, chop (age-appropriately), and cook a real recipe from start to finish, not just watch. Expect some mess, a lot of fun, and a finished dish or treat to be proud of. Classes usually end with the group tasting what they made together.
Curious what's on the menu? If the class has a recipe attached, you may see a small photo of it on the class page once it's set by our team.
📸 Photos From Class
We love capturing the fun! Our instructors take photos during class, and we'll share them with you afterward — you can view your child's class photos anytime in My Account.
Please visit My Account to let us know two things for each child: whether you're okay with us taking photos of them during class, and separately, whether we can use those photos on our social media (Instagram, Facebook, etc.). It's completely fine to say yes to one and not the other, and you can change your answer anytime.
🥜 Allergies & Dietary Needs
We take allergies seriously. Whatever you entered at booking is shared directly with the instructor running that class. If anything changes before class day — a new allergy, a diagnosis, anything — just log in to My Account and update your child's profile, or reach out to us directly so we can update it for you.
Please note: while we take every reasonable precaution, our kitchen handles common allergens (dairy, eggs, wheat, nuts) and we can't guarantee a completely allergen-free environment.
